Enabling WebHDFS

Enabling WebHDFS Using Cloudera Manager

Minimum Required Role: Configurator (also provided by Cluster Administrator, Full Administrator)

To enable WebHDFS, proceed as follows:
  1. Select the HDFS service.
  2. Click the Configuration tab.
  3. Select Scope > HDFS-1 (Service Wide)
  4. Select the Enable WebHDFS property.
  5. Click the Save Changes button.
  6. Restart the HDFS service.
